This policy explains what Formulate AI (“Formulate”, “we”) collects when you visit formulateai.in or use the Formulate app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Formulate is based in Bangalore, India.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email, company name and the details you give during sign-up and onboarding, such as your company website.
- Workspace content: what you and your agents work with: the documents and tools you connect, the results agents produce, and your reviews (approvals, edits, rejections and the reasons you give). Your reviews become lessons in your workspace memory.
- Connected tools: when you connect a tool such as Slack, Gmail or a CRM, we store the credentials needed to act on your behalf. Credentials are stored encrypted.
- Billing: your plan, credit usage and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Website and product usage: pages visited, the device and browser you use, and basic analytics events. On this website we use analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or email.
How we use it
- To run the product: let agents do the work you ask for and show you the results.
- To keep your workspace memory, so your agents learn from your team’s reviews.
- To bill you, keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To reply to you and, if you agree, send product updates. You can opt out at any time.
Your data is not used to train models
We do not use your workspace content, your reviews or your lessons to train AI models, and we do not sell your data. Lessons learned in your workspace stay in your workspace; they are never shared with another customer.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers to run Formulate, under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing their service to us:
- AI model providers, to generate agent results from the context we send.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the product and store data.
- Email delivery providers, to send account and notification emails.
- Payment and analytics providers, for billing and website analytics.
The product is hosted on Nyas, our infrastructure platform. An India hosting region is available. Some providers may process data outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and workspace data while your account is active. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it from the product, except where we must keep records (for example invoices) to meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Disconnect any tool you connected, at any time.
- Withdraw consent to marketing emails.
We have written this policy with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act in mind. To make a request, email contact@formulateai.in. We will reply within a reasonable time.

Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email or in the app.
